Result of Aug 19: Gap had closed but continue bullish. Incorrect second part of the market. When I looked at the indicators after the day is over, all indicators went up at around 10:30. Market is getting the momentum at around 11:30. It is an valuable observation.
Aug 20: 4 downs and 3 sideways. downs are not major movement so its a quiet market. Predicting: No gap open today as indicators are quiet flat. But it still favours downward movement.

Result of Aug 21:
QQQQ and SPY moved as predicted. 1) Gap opened 2) Gap closed 3) Rebound up and stay at high level. Hope people making some money.
Aug 24: 3 strongs. 1 slight up and 2 netural. Well. market does not have a strong direction. Since 3 strongs should enough to affect the market going up. Prediction: QQQQ and SPY up slowly today.

Today I sold the 42 put when I thought QQQQ would go up, and later sell the 39 call when the upward move was coming to an end. You can do this several times a day and have the timedecay working for you. You wil get into trouble if NDX opens 10 % higher or lower the next day, but with an index that doesn't happen too often. Anybody experience with this strategy?

Result of Aug 24:
Both go as high as 1% and declined after and flat at close.
Aug 25:
6 ups and 1 netural. Strong indicative direction.
Prediction: Usually for such strong day, both QQQQ and SPY are up.
Safe: Wait gap close at least 50% before entering. The best is gap closed at least 80%.

That is the reason I use them on an indextracker and not on an individual stock. The options are pretty much in the money, I sort of lock in a profit by selling the other end, if one goes up the other goes down. You could consider it a way to day trade for those with less than 25000. You can of course trade future contracts but that goes to fast for my taste. You were pretty much right on with your QQQQ call today, well done.

Thanks. Result of Aug 25: Gap open for QQQQ and SPY never closed. No trade should be placed.
Aug 26: This morning, 6 weak + 1 netural. Quite heavy on the down side. Prediction: QQQQ and SPY will drop today. Safe: SHORT market AFTER 1st rebound.
Trade disclousre: Order: LONG 39-Sept Put for 0.48. Breakeven: 0.52 (includes roundtrip commission) Target: 0.62
Good luck
